• 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 cups packed kale leaves, stems removed
  • 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts or toasted walnuts (Omit for AIP)
  • Celtic sea salt and pepper to taste


  • Place garlic cloves, olive oil, kale and basil into a food processor and blend until smooth.  
  • Add pine nuts or walnuts, salt and pepper to taste and blend again until smooth.  
  • Once complete, place the pesto into the chicken mixture and stir until well combined.
