I have always been interested in nutrition from a very young age. Leaving a career in sports marketing to become a full-time mother, I did everything I could to provide healthy meals for my family from making my kids baby food from scratch to cooking healthy organic meals on a daily basis. My husband and two children are healthy and nutrition conscious too. I wanted to take my passion for whole food and plant-based nutrition to the next level of helping others. I went back to school to become a Clinical Nutritionist as I wanted to learn as much as I could and now have a private practice so I can help others. My greatest satisfaction comes from teaching, sharing my knowledge, and seeing people achieve their weight and health goals.
While studying for my clinical nutrition certification, I learned about different dietary systems, how to individualize a food and supplement health program for specific needs, therapeutic use of nutrient-dense super-foods, use of antioxidants, quality of foods, herbs, and supplements, environmental nutrition and detoxification, sports nutrition, other specialty healing programs, and integrating complete nutritional programs for optimal health and therapy.
