Healthy Handroll

  • 1 sheet of seaweed (Nori)
  • 1 tablespoon of hummus
  • 1-2 pieces of fresh kale or thinly sliced cucumber
  • ¼ or slightly less of brown rice or quinoa


  • Take 1 sheet of seaweed, spread the hummus on half of the seaweed
  • Add 1/4 cup or less of cooked brown rice or quinoa on top of the hummus and 1 or 2 pieces of kale or thinly sliced cucumber on top of rice.
  • Roll the filled portion of seaweed over the unfilled portion to create a hand roll.
